Tetrix bipunctata
The Two-spotted Ground-hopper is a small, compact and usually brownish grasshopper with elongated, thorn-like pronotum. It is very difficult to distinguish from the Common Ground-hopper. The species often has two dark spots on the pronotum, but these are not diagnostic. The species inhabits dry, warm biotopes, preferably with little or no vegetation. It occurs throughout Norway north to Finnmark County.
