Felipes
Felipes includes a single species in Europe and North America. Felipes leucopellaeus is common and widespread in natural forest communities of southern and central Norway. The genus is lichenized with a trentepohlioid photobiont.

Description
The relevant characters of the genus Felipes are provided under its only species, F. leucopellaeus.
Remarks
The genus Felipes is here included in the Arthoniaceae for practical reasons. Molecular phylogenetic analyses place the genus in a separate evolutionary lineage of the Arthoniales that currently is not formally described.
